NOTICE OF SPECIAL COMMISSION MEETINGS FOR
PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT NO. 1 OF WHATCOM COUNTY
Notice is hereby given that the Board of Commissioners (“Commission”) of Public Utility District No. 1 of Whatcom County (“District”) will hold two (2) Special Meetings on Thursday, March 19, 2026.
THE FIRST MEETING WILL BEGIN AT 8:00 AM AND WILL LAST APPROXIMATELY THREE AND ONE QUARTER (3.25) HOURS ENDING AT APPROXIMATELY 11:15 AM
The purpose of the Special Meeting will be to enter into Executive Session to:
- Evaluate Qualifications of Applicants for Public Employment for the General Manager position RCW 42.30.110(1)(g)

THE SECOND MEETING WILL BEGIN AT 1:30 P.M. AND WILL LAST APPROXIMATELY TWO AND ONE HALF (2.5) HOURS ENDING AT APPROXIMATELY 4:00 P.M.
The purpose of the Special Meeting will be to enter into executive session to:
- Evaluate Qualifications of Applicant for Public Employment for the General Manager position RCW 42.30.110(1)(g)
Executive Session will then be closed and the special meeting will be resumed for the purpose of:
- Consideration of the Next Steps in the GM Recruitment Process Which May Include Final Actions
