NOTICE OF SPECIAL COMMISSION MEETING FOR
PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT NO. 1 OF WHATCOM COUNTY
(ONLINE ONLY)

Notice is hereby given that the Board of Commissioners of Public Utility District No. 1 of Whatcom County will hold a Special Meeting on Friday, March 27, 2026 at 3:30 PM.

 The purpose of the Special Meeting will be to:

  • Hold a work session to discuss recent developments in the Point Roberts broadband project and consider next steps.
  • Executive Session to evaluate qualifications of applicant for public employment for General Manager position (RCW 42.30.110(1)(g)

No action is expected following Executive Session.

THE MEETING WILL BEGIN AT 3:30 PM AND WILL LAST APPROXIMATELY THIRTY (60) MINUTES ENDING AT APPROXIMATELY 4:30 PM AND WILL BE ONLINE ONLY.
