Notice is hereby given that the Board of Commissioners (“Commission”) of Public Utility District No. 1 of Whatcom County (“District”) will hold a Special Meeting on Friday, March 6, 2026 from 8:55 AM to 3:25 PM. The meeting will be held via Zoom only.

The purpose of the Special Meeting will be to:

  1. Hold an Executive Session to evaluate the qualifications of an applicant for public employment for the General Manager position in accordance with RCW 42.30.110(1)(g)

The special meeting will be called to order, and the Commission will immediately enter into executive session with no other agenda items. The Commission is expected to return to the special meeting to recess for lunch from approximately 11:45 to 12:25, returning to executive session at 12:30. No action is expected.

The special meeting is anticipated to last six and one half (6.5) hours. (The length of the meeting is approximate and subject to change.)
