Whatcom PUD has completed the update of its 2004 Comprehensive Water System Plan.   The final update was approved by the Commission on February 8, 2022, under Resolution No. 815.

At the Regular Meeting of September 14, 2021, the Board of Commissioners approved Resolution No. 799, Adopting the Draft Water System Plan and Resolution No. 800, the Cross Connection Control Policy.  Click here to view or download:

The adopted plan will be sent to Washington State Office of Drinking Water (ODW), Washington State Dept. of Ecology (DOE), and Whatcom County Planning and Development Services (PDS) for comment and review.

Fall 2021Address Comments from Washington State Office of Drinking Water, Department of Ecology and Whatcom County Planning and Development Services.
–Adopt final Water System Plan

–Submit final Water System Plan to Whatcom County Council for Acceptance, for inclusion in Whatcom County Coordinated Water System Plan.
