It’s national Drinking Water Week, May 6-12, and here in Washington, Governor Jay Inslee has recognized the event with a proclamation celebrating the “thousands of dedicated water system operators, scientists, engineers, local elected officials, and others who work to ensure Washington’s tap water is safe.”
The American Water Works Association launched national Drinking Water Week more than 35 years ago as the first full week each May.
