Water – It‘s Everybody’s Business

Whatcom Water Week is a week long event that celebrates our local water resources. Businesses, non-profit organizations and community groups celebrate the importance of water, share information about the state of the resource, offer stewardship opportunities, and expand awareness and appreciation of our marine and fresh water resources and the role water plays in our lives.

Several events are planned for the celebration:

  • Self-guided Lake Whatcom Tours
  • Self-guided Stormwater Discovery Tours
  • Run with the Chums 5K Fun Run with a Kids Smolt Sprint Obstacle Course
  • Salmon Sightings along Thompson Creek in Glacier
  • Preschool Story Time Events (vitural)
  • Poop Fairy Visits
  • Tours of the Bellingham Water  and Wastewater Treatment Plants
  • And many more!

Bellingham SeaFeast is a waterfront and seafood festival has been rescheduled to Saturday, October 30th.
