Washington State Department of Ecology’s Water Resources Division is commemorating Washington’s first water law, which is turning 100 this year.
It’s national Drinking Water Week, May 7-13, and here in Washington, Governor Jay Inslee has recognized the event with a proclamation celebrating the “thousands of dedicated water system operators, scientists, engineers, local elected officials, and others who work to ensure Washington’s tap water is safe.”
