The WRIA 1 Watershed 
Management Options Catalog

The Management Options Catalog is a product of the WRIA 1 Watershed Management Project. 

The WRIA 1 Management Options Catalog represents a catalog of management options for consideration in developing current and future versions of the WRIA 1 Watershed Plan. The catalog is intended to be an open and growing database of ideas that are in all stages of investigation.

Each option represented in the Management Option Catalog attempts to summarize the benefits of each potential option in terms of water quantity, water quality, instream flow, and fish habitat. It also attempts to identify potential challenges that may be associated with implementing a particular option in WRIA 1.

We need your help in expanding the Management Option Catalog!

Initially, when the Management Option Catalog was being developed not all of the fields that were included in the worksheets that made up the catalog were filled out. Therefore, some information may be missing for listed management options. Each option you link to in the Management Option Catalog includes a comment box that provides an opportunity for you to either comment on the option or to provide additional information for the missing fields.

Also, the Management Option Catalog is not an all-inclusive list of management options.  There may be management options that should be considered in the WRIA 1 Watershed Plan that are not listed in the Catalog. Each option in the existing catalog includes a link to a form that provides an opportunity for you to add a new option or a modification to an existing option. You can also link directly to the "submit new management option" form.
